Should you desex your cat?

Yes.

We love cats, obviously.

But in Australia, feral cats kill more than 1.5 billion native animals per year.

Australia's mammal extinction rate is the highest in the world and cats are largely responsible for about 60% of those extinctions. No good.

Feral cats kill car more mammals than urban, pet cats, and there are 6 million of them.

While pet cats kill an average of 75 animals a year, bush cats kill around 740.

That's what we're trying to stop.

So desex your cat, and they'll have a happy, wholesome life, and their progeny won't end up a killer.
